When I try to play music using the Bluetooth feature of the amp, it chops the music up. Similar to what Bluetooth does when your device is out of range of a speaker, but I’m right beside it. Any ideas of what it could be and how to fix it?

I haven’t had a problem; however some have indicated that their iWatch has caused interference. Your iWatch (if you have one) links to your iPhone. I’ve never experienced this issue, and I have an iWatch, and also use a U2 Xvive Bluetooth wireless between my guitar and the Spark 40.

get the new firmware version. I had the same problems as you and the new firmware fixed it!
