Can't search ToneCloud using Chromebook app
-
I'm using the Spark app on my Chromebook, and have updated to the last app version and firmware (including the Hendrix update, for what it's worth). I've noticed that when I try to search for patches on the ToneCloud, I enter some text, press enter, and see nothing but a blank page. I've tried the same process using the iPhone app, and it works fine, but I would prefer to use my Chromebook for the larger screen. I'm just curious if anyone else uses a Chromebook or perhaps even an Android tablet and has some success with this, or any tips on how I might fix this?

@vandal54 This has been an ongoing problem. Officially, the software is not supported on Chromebooks but searching Tonecloud using a Chrombook is the only problem I have. I wish they would support Chromebook and fix the problem. A work around I have used it to search for tones using my android phone and save the tones to dropbox. You can then download the tones from dropbox into your Spark app on the Chromebook.

@jedebel Any updates on this problem?
I recently bought the beautiful Spark Amp (40W) and I was thinking of using it with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, but it doesn't work because the operating system has remained stuck at Android 7.
Now I would like to buy a 2in1 tablet to use my Spark with a large screen and I would like to know if I have to buy a tablet with Android or I can buy a Chromebook that also runs Android applications natively: this would be my preferred choice.Thank you.
