So far I am pleased with this amp, however one thing has become a significant problem. When trying different Custom Amp settings from the ToneCloud I have found a HUGE different in volume settings from one Custom Amp to another. I have my volume on both the amp and guitar way down and I might try something like Modern Vintage Clean under Pop which is barely audible and I have to turn up the volume, then go to Metallica under Metal and my ears are blasted out and I am worried I might have damaged either the speakers or my eardrums. Either I am not understanding how the amp works or settings are incorrect or that is just the way it is. I really don't know. Any advise would be most appreciated

I asked the same question and basically got, “that’s the way it is.” There are too many different users with different platforms and support programs to provide a consistent preset volume. I’ve had similar problems with similar User Provided Presets on other products.

My solution was to capture a preset that I like and adjust the Amplifier Gain & Volume settings to get a volume that I can live with. I start at the Amp settings as they have the least effect on the overall preset sound design. Modifying anything else can have a more drastic effect on the final sound.

@dan-lawrence Thanks Dan. I am starting to get used to this but I am sure they could engineer a fix for this.
