Record on iPad didn’t work

I want to use the spark as an audio interface on my ipad but itis not working…
The iPad didn’t recognize the spark as an audio interface when I plug it with lightning cable and an an adaptator same problem with an iPhone. (Lightning cable is tested : ok)
I try in my MacBook it’s ok… -

You mentioned that you are using an adapter. I’ve tried recording a couple times in the past, and quickly discovered that not all adapters are “data” adapters!Most FireWire adapters I found supported only charging and headphones, and did not work when I tried to record to my iPad or iPhone. The adapter did not have the other data signals wired to pass through to the device.
Could this be your problem?

@dan-lawrence I had the same issue, had to spend the $$$ to get an official apple product

@dan-lawrence The "Camera Adapter" is what's needed since that allows transfer of data.

I will try a new adaptator perhaps it’s will work
