Importing the Specific Song You Select
Has anyone found a way to force the Spark App Import to actually import the selected song in Apple Music?
I have two songs in Apple Music that I need. An instrumental version of Hallelujah in the key of G, and a transposed version of With a Little Help from My Friends that brings the song into Standard Tuning. These are the only two songs (so far) that I have to go outside the Spark App to play.
Anyone tried butchering the name in Apple Music before importing?
Someone on the Spark Zone Forum pointed me to the AnyTune App. This is a perfect solution for me as my primary interest is playing along with my favorite songs.
AnyTune captures songs from my playlists or DropBox, allows me to transpose it to another key, change the BPM without changing the pitch, and setup loops. The Free version had everything I needed.
At this point, Spark + AnyTune totally streamlined my practice/playing process. My problem with songs recorded with half-step or full-step-down tuning is solved.

@dan-lawrence Anytune+ is a great app, and with the abiliy to run two apps side by side on an iPad makes it an excellent adjunct to the Spark app. With Anytune+ you can play, as the name implies, any tune that's on your computer without having to jump through the stupid hoops that the Spark app puts in your way to try to play a file you may have on your device. And you'll always get exactly the version you want to play with instead of some switched version from youtube.
Totally agree! I actually upgraded to AnyTune Pro+ soon after downloading the Free version to access the higher quality sound, even though I couldn’t tell much of a difference through the Spark.
I don’t think I’ve used any of the other Pro+ bells and whistles; so the Free version is a great alternative to Spark App Music.
