When I play Apple Music from my phone over bluetooth to my Spark amp, it sounds good and bassy. If I plug an aux cable from my phone to the amp, it sounds really thin. Swapping the aux cable for another doesn't change the issue.

I tested my phone with my JBL bluetooth speaker. Both bluetooth audio and the aux cable sounds great there.

      Firmware is on 1.4.3.174.

      Any ideas?

Hi, a bit late responding to your post but I am experiencing the same issue. Amp sounds great when music is streamed over bluetooth but really 'tinny' when using the Aux. Sounds like a really cheap speaker. Tried different devices that I know work with other Aux In speakers.
Sound is also tinny when connected with USB cable to PC and using the amp as a monitor.
Did you ever resolve your problem?
        Thanks
