I use a Samsung tablet to access the app..Do I need the ASIO driver in order to install the firmware? I am confused. My tablet does not have a USB slot so I am guessing I can use my laptop to update the firmware but if I do that do I still need to install the ASIO driver? I have tried to download the driver multiple times and cannot do it? I need to update the firmware.

You cannot update the Firmware with your Andriod device..that has to be done with a windows based PC (in which the asio driver is for and downloaded with the COMPUTER) or a Mac Computer. The firmware is the software that is installed on the amplifier its self.

Your mobile device enables you to interface with the amp when playing. That is a separate update.
If you are trying to acsess tue new gear drop, you are technically doing 3 software updates,
if you never have done a firmware update. 1 is for your PC (ASIOdriver) 1 is for your amp firmware, which is done with your amp plugged into the PC via the USB CABLE to install it.
The app update is just done through Google play store, as you normally update Andriod Apps.

@tollrun98 Thank you for the info..I have tried to download the ASIO driver numerous times and it will not download from any of the sites....
I am still confused. When I am able to finally download the driver how do I load it into the firmware update or doe itt just go directly into the amo itself then do the firmware?

Here is a link to a video tutorial from postive grid. Once the ASIO driver is installed, you wont need to click or launch it, you will need ALSO download and click the firmware installer.
Depending on what kind of computer you are using will determine which firmware update tool link, to use. OSX is for MAC based PCs, WIN is for Windows based pc. All the links you is listed on the web page link I posted at the start of this post.

The firmware updater tool, is the box that will pop up on your COMPUTER and check and install the firmware for the Spark Amp. Once you are done with the updating, do not just pull out the usb cord, until you click on eject device tab in the update tool, or you may have issues with the amp, and will have to reinstall the firmware again.
