First Post And Contains A Big Concern
-
Hi all. I'm really looking forward to my new Spark Amp which i ordered on the 26th July 2021. Today i recieved a text message with a link to the 'PostOffice' stating they couldn't deliver the parcel as no one was at home. I'm thinking thats strange, I'm a medically extremely vunerable older person and cannot leave my house.
Anyway. I clicked on the link (like an old codger would), and it says i need to give them a redirection delivery date (which cost money). I filled out my name, date, and age. The next page wanted me to select 1 of three new delivery dates so i chose one and proceeded to the next page which requires my bank details (just so they can check it corresponds to what positivegrid has. Big alarm bells sounded so i closed the message. Sod that i thought. I thought i would contact Positivegrid and have a chat about what transpired, of course the contact us links are not set up and the help link is also not set up, so here i am.The thing that worry's me the most is that from a supposed private secured transaction, using PayPal as well, some w*nker knows that i've ordered something from Positivegrid, and is trying their luck to get my bank details. Is there a serious security breach with PositiveGrid?
I'm using 3rd party blocking software that prevents social media trackers, cross-site cookies and fingerprinters, Phishing is built in to my browser and updated.
At my end there is little else i can do.
Sorry for the negative 1st post, but reality stinks big time

Hi all. I received the Spark Amp this morning, hooked it up and updated to the latest firmware. Interesting amp and sounds very good. Had a quick fiddle with the controls and was pleasantly suprised at the array and quality of sounds it outputs.
