      URGENT!!

After the firmware update launched today my spark is mute. Neither the guitar or the bluetooth connected device sounds. It doesn't have any sound.

I followed all the steps in the update guide with the ASIO Driver (for windows), the updater app and the update succeeded.

      Please help.

@jupabeco You might want to do a Factory Reset. Also, an important step in the update process is NOT to plug-in the USB cable to the Spark until after the updater EXE is running, and directs one to connect.

                    Hi all.

After checking some similar issues in spark social groups I've repeated the process but using the "eject" button at the end and now the amp is working well. The guide must include this final step.

                    Thanks.

@jupabeco The eject function didn't help in my case. I used it from the start and I had no sound at all. I tried it a few more times, ejecting every time, and now I have guitar sound but can't play music through the speaker...

I'm having the same issue! Just followed the instructions exactly as stated, and now no sound either from the guitar or from the phone via bluetooth. What is going on?!

Well, seems there is some issues with the software or the instructions to update the firmware. However, at least the guy on the You Tube video was able to get it to work, really like to know how.
I wasn't able to update the firmware but at least my amp still works. Hopefully the Spark folks can get this figured out soon.

Mine is still a brick with all 5 LED's blinking, Support from these guys is totally rubbish. The most I have so far is to run the attached script: (macOS users) they said it should force the restart but it didn't. They then said to export the log as a text file and send it back to them. They then come back saying to do a reset, even though I have told them multiple times the reset won't work because it is bricked.

Anyway guys I have put this on a Google drive for you guys who have macs, see if it works for you. You will need to right-click and open the file as it needs admin privileges to run. Good luck.

Also please let us know if anyone finds a solution. Multiple attempts have not worked for me.

                                  UPDATE:

Okay so sounds unbelievable but it worked for me, try another USB cable. Mine, even though was the supplied one and had never been used, was giving a bad connection. Tried another cable and the firmware update completed and it's all good now. Just thought I'd put it out there in case it's worth you guys trying it.

@phill Thanks for your input. I am having the same issue with my Spark Pearl - No audio after the latest firmware update. I have tried all the suggestions that I have seen in this forum to no avail. I also have 2 Spark units and both were updated to the latest firmware. Only the newer Pearl is experiencing the no audio issue.

I have a ticket open with support, but so far no luck. They are suggesting many of the same ideas as seen here. Because I have 2 units both updated with only one having an issue it seems to point to something else besides cables, PCs, process, etc...
