Sincerely frustrated with this amp
-
I suppose it's my fault for not doing proper research, but I didn't expect to have this bad of an experience.
I got my amp December 2020, it arrived on time within a week and I was super stoked to play. It worked great for about a day then problems started appearing.
First the incessant humming was about to make me lose grip on my sanity but I band-aided that with the noise gate (which does unspeakable things to your sustain) Next; the muffled tone. I thought I had a bum amp but this is just how they sound? I get that it's a 3 in 1 amp but the speakers are so... underwhelming. why make a 3 in 1, this isn't shampoo this is really serious guitar gear that I spend hours meticulously toiling over until I've made slight changes in my tone; stuck a sock in the bass hole and it helped a bit as well as aroused me slightly.
Then, about a week later the input jack nut suddenly just disappeared?! It unscrewed itself I was left with this dinky little washer and the whole input was exposed... I know that's not their fault but why did it come off in the first place? also I live alone and looked EVERYWHERE for this damn thing, I have no idea how it happened.unfortunately someone I've never even met bought this amp for me so all the support and emailing has been done through a middle-man, but I managed to send a video off and finally after weeks and weeks I received my grounded power supply.
I've learnt to live with the crap sound, and I've gotten used to the crash heavy, terrible app. And now it's finally time I'm able to turn that damn noise gate off and PLAY.
nope
grounded power supply, firmware update, new bolt on input jack, new patch chord(s), sock in the damn bass hole and I literally just bought a brand new Ibanez RG421HPAH that works fine in other amps but STILL the bzzzzzzzzz lives on to haunt me.
I almost broke.
what the shit is this terrible product?
Also, when I turned off the noise gate on high gain there's white noise as if you were playing a real amp? This sounds awful too but that with the added buzzing is just tumultuous harmony. What do I do people? please help me I am just a man who wants to shred :( as mentioned above sending/receiving is difficult because I was not the purchaser.
Thank you for reading, or taking the time to respond. peace bucko. -

Thank you for reading, or taking the time to respond. peace bucko.I’m guessing you’ve messaged the support to let them know. If you haven’t and explain about it being bought by a 3rd party in fact send them this whole thread in an email. The way you’ve described it is perfect t and I totally understand what’s been and is going on with it.
The support can be frustrating and according to the message that went out by the CEO you should be covered by a 2 year guarantee for the amp. I’m sure it’s in the news section or old news section that the message was sent.
Also tell them that it’s not only you that has a problem with the latest update as from what I’ve read on Facebook groups and on here the latest update (of which I’m glad I’ve not done btw) is crap or has thrown up more problems than it’s fixed as well as creating white noise or humming for some if not all users.
Give it about a week for a reply or at least a few days a d then if not response send it again and if you are on their Facebook page send them a Facebook messenger message as I did whilst I was waiting for my amp to arrive. It does work sending them multiple messages and if you do get to speak to someone get a full name not just a first name as when you get just the first name it doesn’t seem to help or when replying to the email always reply to the email they send you then you’ve got a point of contact as well.

@niak-snikrah thanks for this, I haven’t contacted support yet because of the third party issue and also a growing apathy. I will do this now though, I appreciate it thanks again.
