I updated Bias FX 2 to the latest version (2.3.6070) and the tuner disappeared! Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a fix?

@mike-talada In the VST version, its been removed. (Most DAW's have a tuner, and there are also many free tuner vst's out there.)
The standalone version still has the tuner, in the Toolbox section.

Gee, that's a awfully helpful update. I mean, why would I want to fudge with one VST while recording when I could fudge with two? Can't believe no one thought of this earlier.

Bring back the tuner you fuckwits.

Yeah, I only ever use the VST version:( I definitely won't be upgrading whenever version 3 comes out if this is how they do business, removing features after you've already bought the software.

@mike-talada @Henri-Harell Guys, there are so many free VST tuners out there, just get one of those.

Plus, doesn't your DAW have a built in tuner? Most do.
It's not a big deal, at all.

No, it's not a big deal. I just don't think removing existing features in an update is a very ethical way to do business. What might disappear next time?

@mike-talada My opinion, BIAS stuff is great. Distortion boxes and compressors need a lot of love to get them right, but can supplement them with better units third party and get awesome sounds.

Have gone thru many years with a hard on mentality that the latest is the greatest, and this is only one example where it ain’t so.

For me and my system, ver 4980 of Bias FX 2 was the last iteration that did not start causing more problems than the update was worth. It worked fine so why was I digging myself deeper into grief installing regressive updates. Just saying because the devs are quick to offer links to the older versions if we need to roll back. Thank you.

Editorial complaint as long as I’m bitchin and moanin. Hope this don’t offend anyone.

This forum is lame, sad, impotent for the most part.
Look at the number of questions and help requests that have zero answers. Somebody out there gots to have a clue on some of the issues, but brain dead silence prevails. Devs also sadly absent addressing advice for the problems users are trying to find answers to. This is forked up.

Hey wake up, moderators, devs, lay users. This place is like a sinking ship. How can a software with so much potential have such an apathetic, neglected community of users (and developers)…

Love you all and hoping for better times,
                  John

I addressed this in my original post: I don't want to fudge with 2 plugins when I have previously been able to deal with just one.
