No Footswitch? Wow. Simple software changes could open the possibility.

This amp needs a a way for people to switch between the 4 hardware presets on the fly. I'm considering returning it but now that i've looked around at some hacks people are trying to create a footswitch i might give it a go.
I believe the changes needed could all be done with just software updates.
There are many generic bluetooth footswitches on the market that can trigger actions in an app. I have one called the Cube Turner that triggers a swipe right or left gesture on the screen. If the app would just switch between the channels based on a swipe gesture this pedal would effectively toggle between the 4 presets.
Another idea would be to have some kind of gesture based control in the app that detects some movement of the user with the camera (not as crazy as its sounds)
In either case i'm looking into other options, i might try and create a bluetooth app that takes a footswitch signal and relays it to the amp.
My guess is that if you have a pretty sizeable community of players developing hacks to add a feature, it might be worth considering at least some software options that could help these users out.
I would wonder how many people return these amps because of this specific issue, i didn't realize when i ordered it there was no footswitch option as every guitar amp i've ever bought has this.

@dannelder1 Get the AirStep Spark version.

I have actually built my own footswitch which can do even more than the AirStep (Lite):
- Switch between HW presets
- Switch between custom presets (using banks)
- Toggle each effect in the chain for a selected preset
- Quick toggle Drive for selected preset
- Connect to the Spark App to receive and store new presets
- Act as a bluetooth keyboard to work with Looper apps (and others)
It was all built using an ESP32 platform as the basis and connecting switches and LEDs.
