Next Chord now on the right?

Of late, while playing along with a song on my Spotify or Youtube, where once it showed the highlighted current chord in the middle and I could see what was coming next to the right, now the highlighted chord is on the right, and the following chords come out of nowhere, often catching me by surprise, as if something isn't aligned correctly anymore. This wasn't how it used to be. Is there a simple way to fix this?
