      Hi all,

      Hope you're doing well.

      Let me first detail my setup :
      OS : Windows 10 2004 up to date
      Product : BIAS FX 2 Elite v2.2.5.6050
      Audio interface : Motu M2 with up to date drivers - FW 1.0.2 driver version 4.0.8.8030 -
      Midi Controller : FCB1010 with the uno2 firmware v1.2

      The issue is related to BIAS FX 2 midi control which sometimes works sometimes not. It is not consistent.

      From the point of view of BIAS FX 2, the Midi settings are :
      Midi Control -> enabled
      Midi Channel -> All channels
      Audio setting / Active Midi inputs -> MOTU M Series Midi In

      I've created a setup on the FCB1010 controller to send program change messages to change presets and some control change messages to use pedals as wah and volume controls.
      The setup has been tested with the Uno2 provided midi messages monitor and my DAW midi messages monitor. All works as expected and in any case - BIAS FX 2 midi controls works or not - Midi messages are received by the monitors.

      When I first assigned Midi messages to BIAS FX 2 it worked as expected : presets were able to be changed and the wah and volume pedals worked as expected. I saved each preset after editing and i closed the BIAS FX 2 application. When i restarted it nothing worked anywmore.
      In some cases i've managed to reactivate Midi controls by changing the Midi channel parameter.
      In some cases i've managed to reactivate Midi controls by disabling then re enabling Midi control.
      In some cases i've managed to reactivate Midi controls by assigning again one of the controls. It seems to bring other controls to life. But each time i restart the application i loose the Midi controls.
      In some cases whatever i do i can't reactivate Midi controls. It seems that the application has lost connection to the Midi port.

      I've tried on another computer with an older version of BIAS FX 2 - the one from december -.
      I've tried to reset BIAS FX 2 configuration from the menu - i've even deleted configuration files -.
      I've tried to log out/log in to my Positive Grid account.
      The issue remains the same.

      I've tried to use BIAS FX 2 automation in my DAW : it works the first time i configure it then it does not work anymore when i restart the DAW.

      The feeling i have is that the connection to Midi is sometimes lost sometimes not initialized.

      I own another guitar amp simulator which has Midi control capacity : it works perfectly all the time. But it does not sound as good as BIAS FX 2.

      I've raised a ticket to support but i've also decided to try my chance here.

      If someone has an idea of what i can test in addition to what has been done or any idea of what the issue is, please let me know. I will be infinitely grateful to him.

      Thank you and have a good day !

        Tried with another Midi interface with no more luck.
        BUT : i discovered that after waiting 2 minutes and 20 seconds after application startup the Midi controls work.
        If somebody has any idea about this behaviour...
