Two channels
-
I've got a guitar with two jacks (one for the magnetic pickups and one for the piezo pickup).
I've got a USB audio interface with two instrument-level inputs (a MOTU M2). I use two cables to connect the two guitar outputs to the two AI inputs.
I use a powered USB/Lightning hub to connect the AI to an iPad.
In BIAS FX 2 Mobile, in Settings > Audio Settings > Input Channel, I choose "Channel 1+2".
For Routing I select Dual. I get a Splitter, which splits on "signal". I place the Splitter first thing in the chain, and put different amps/effects on the two channels, one acoustic amp and one tube amp. On the Mixer I pan one channel 50R and the other 50L. I can hear the the acoustic amp on the right speaker and the tube amp on the left speaker. So far, so good.
Now, what I want to happen is that input 1 of the AI (the magnetic pickups), and only input 1, goes to the tube amp and the left speaker, and input 2 of the AI (the piezo pickup), and only input 2, goes to the acoustic amp and the right speaker.
What I get instead is that a mix of the two inputs goes to both amps and both speakers.
Is there no way to get AI input 1 to go only to Splitter CH1 and AI input 2 to go only to Splitter CH2?
It seems like an obvious thing to want to do.
Thanks,
Greg

Support replied to me that this is not possible, but they'll submit the idea to their dev team.

@holmberg2066 Thank you for sharing. That would be a great feature.
