Does anyone use "Music Maker" with the spark?
-
edit I spent a good part of the day getting the kinks worked out of this program, and aside from some small latency, I got it all worked out. I ended up making the music makers ASIO driver the recording driver and the audio playback driver. The spark is the midi input/output.
The 2 big things that kept me back, was that I needed to go into the project settings and set the audio sample rate to 48,000 (instead of the 41,000 default). This got rid of all the pop and distortion, and also allowed me to actually record and playback audio through my PC speakers. I also had to make sure the only input device that was enabled in the windows sound settings was the spark amp. Under the recording tab, I had to turn on "listen to this device" under the line settings for the spark.
anyway, thats all for now. If you're interested in using Music Maker and start running into problems with it give me a shout.I feel like a pro at this point.Im also still learningIm running into a couple issues with Music Maker, which may be the fault of the ASIO driver. The main issue is unplayable latency. I've tried different bitrates, even tried their ASIO driver (which can be tweaked) but when I do that, all of the output goes to the spark amp.
I guess in a nutshell my issues are pretty complex so I was hoping someone here actually used this program and could walk me through how to properly set it up so the volume is being output from the PC speakers for both the spark amp and the playback in Music Maker.
