Can i run 2 instances of the program to control both my own and my wife's guitar's simultaniously, with different effects?

I think it's not possible.. But I am not sure

Although you can install it in another pc/mac and run them both on the same time on different machine

I think that is the more plausible option

If you use a DAW you can assign BIAS FX as a VST plugin for each track and have different FX for each track. Then monitor the DAW and you will have what you want I think. It's not possible using the desktop FX app I believe.

not in the stand alone. I just tried opening 2 instances and changing the input for each instance... no good... did not take. Running in a DAW with 2 tracks and two vst instances is super easy.... i do this all the time with bass and guitar in reaper. If you need a free DAW, cakewalk by bandlab works well with BFX.
