Single coil low volume with clean tone
-
American Deluxe Strat with N3 pickups -- the amp has plenty of volume when using gain settings on the amp and/or app, but volume drops substantially when using a clean tone, especially on treble strings. I tried using the app's boost pedal with and without gain, didn't change volume much. I have an old beater guitar with humbuckers, it's a bit louder on a clean signal but still much lower than a gain signal. I guess I need to use an external boost pedal when I want to play clean? Or maybe someone has another solution?

The clean amps are very quiet.
I add the red compressor and crank it up in the area of 3 o'clock. This helps but also changes the sound a bit. -

I'm just wanting pure decibel boost. The Spark Boost pedal helps, just not enough for passive single coils with a clean signal. Pretty easy to get lost in the mix when playing with a jam track.
