      Hi everyone,
Newbie here, not only with Spark but with the infinite world of guitar pedals/ effects. Anyone knows of a tutorial where we could find explanation on what these pedals do and what all the different adjustments do. Even if some have names that say most of it ( like reverb) they are equipped with many buttons that does not mean a thing to me. I know, I could try to play with knobs and I did, but something like a tutorial where pedals are explained and use of the different knobs is also explained would be welcome. I look on youtube and could only find frustrating videos where nothing is explained, just people playing guitar with different effects.
      thank you

I want to buy my first effects pedal (before that I just played through the Cort MX15R 15 watt combo and through the Guitar Rig 5). Can I take this pedal to use it with the above amp to play songs from RHCP and Arctic Monkeys to Metallica and Slipknot?

I feel your bewilderment, I've played acoustic my whole adult life but electric is a new universe. Like you say, whether you're relying on Spark or you have a real pedalboard, experimentation is hampered if you don't understand what a pedal is actually doing. Fortunately, we are not alone and there's sort of a sister-site where I think you'll find what you're looking for. Check these out:

As for useful videos, check out the web sites and YouTube channels of specific pedal makers, even if it's not the exact brand a particular Spark pedal is modeled after. Brian Wampler is a good example.
