in the bias fx for ipad you can easily map midi controls by holding down the knob you want to map. it presents the midi cc list and learn.
however in the desktop version i dont seem to find this works the same. any insight here?

For the VST version, you right click the element

          ok perfect. thank you.
in the ipad version you hold down on the actual knob you want to map.
in the desktop version you have to right click the fx element to access that.
          why no commonality between versions?
however thanks to a great community the answer is not far off.

Because iPads are both touchscreen and based on an OS that was made for stone age computers with one button mice. Right click is kind of a defacto UI default for speed menus
