Running a Spark through a PC
-
I bought the spark primarily for practice and just fun playing around with the sounds etc. One thing I tend to do 95% of the time is play through a headset so that I do not annoy my family. One thing I would really like to do is be able to send the Spark to my PC so that I can be listening to say a YouTube guitar lesson while still hearing the guitar.
My first attempt at this has been not the greatest, I hooked the spark into my line in on my PC. This works but their is just enough latency that I find it annoying. I have read the ASIO4ALL drivers might help with this and I will probably give that a shot next but I am wondering is there another solution that I am missing that might work better?

Are you using the asio driver that you download from PG? Are you hooked up to the pc with the USB cable? Set your pc to use the spark as your default sound device and then you will have no latency and can still use the pc for your lessons, and your app to change tones.

This is correct, connect the PC via bluetooth, find the Spark amp and connect. You can then play your YouTube video or any other sound source and it will play through the Amp. Have your guitar plugged into the spark and plug in the headphones to listen yourself without bothering others. You then can also use the Spark App that you can connect to the amp via bluetooth to give you your tones.
