@airman2001 update.. I too just got off a chat with their support...
"as of december 4th, it was already out from our warehouse
I will be sending a follow up message to our team regarding this" "Please be aware that there may be some delays on the carrier's part in updating the website (order tracker) with information about your Spark's journey.
Me: fedex is pretty good about updating as soon as they receive it
can you explain why teh site(postive grid) .. teh track you rorder.. says ready to ship?
been like that since teh 2nd
Lei: it is indeed ready to ship
but fedex has not picked it up yet
Me: why is that?
Lei: that's what I will be confirming with our logistics team. I will have this escalated. Please wait for their response via email within 24 to 48 hours max (business days) but rest assured that I'll contact them immediately so they can reach out to you the soonest.So... same ole song....

After contacting multiple times inluding to PG CS, Warehouse and Fedex.
I finally got it just now without update on track order yet. The estimated shipping date was 12/5. Shipping lable created 12/2. Fedex notification of delivery date 12/3 (received this morning) and immediately corrected to 12/14. Actual ship date - 12/13. I think PG got annoyed by my rants everyday and gave up. -
@dupiol-bonnin Amazon might have it listed, but if you look at the entry for the amp alone it says very clearly "Sold by Positive Grid and Ships from Positive Grid." The amp bundle with the carrying bag (currently $300 at Amazon) says "Sold by Positive Grid and Ships from Amazon." So you might still be in the waiting game if you didn't buy the package with the bag.

@dhbailey
it was Amazon.fr.now it's out of stock and it's True,iI don't if it was shipping by PG or amazon -
I ordered on Nov. 29, 2020. I sent an email to support about bad tracking link - requested a delivery date or refund and they replied by claiming COVID, and sending me a Fedex tracking number. The tracking only is that a label was "created". Still nothing more to date. Sent another email yesterday, but no response yet. I'm not impressed. I bought other items from China approx same time, they sent a bad tracking number also, but when I emailed they sent a good tracking numbet, that has been moving (slowly) - shows it is on the truck for delivery today.
Slow delivery is one thing, poor communication and evasive practices is not tolerable. This product better be flawless, because I'm sure support would be nonexistent. At this point I don't see myself ever referring friends to this product. -
@dwgroce Can you update how your situation is right now if it has even changed at all? Because Im now in the same situationas you right now, after contacting again customer service they told me there is a delay because of COVID-19 and send me a tracking number that is exactly like yours, the label was created but the shipping company (GLS in my case) hasn't received the package yet, and this was 2 days ago
-
@alexcarvalhomyself My tracking number was created 13 days ago, the package left after 7 days, and for a week, no modification on the tracking, since the 16th it has left. It's long
-
For what it's worth:
- I ordered on nov 29th
- Order tracking saying shipping around the dec 19th. Didn't move until dec 17th
- Shipping started on 17th via GLS to France
- Delivered on dec 22nd, with bag included in the same box, despite the order tracking saying that bag would ship soon.
=> estimated delivery date was correct.
The grounded plug was included.
-
@zwolem Tu m'inquiètes, le mien serait partis d'Allemagne le 16, mais toujours pas livré sur Bordeaux. Le tracking est toujours bloqué sur le 16
-
I ordered at the end of November with a promise of shipping on Dec 20th.
That date having come and went with no change in tracking status I contacted PG and got the following respose (make of it what you will?):"Thanks for reaching out. Your frustration is deeply felt.
We're very sorry to hear that your Spark, ordered in Nov 29, has not arrived yet.
We see that your parcel is in transit via XXXXXXXXX
Ports in the UK have been recently closed due to the worsening pandemic situation in the UK and subsequent border closures, so logistical backlog and shipment delays are inevitable. We want you to know that we are exploring every channel and actively doing everything we can to fulfill your order as soon as possible. We sincerely apologize for the wait.
Thank you for your continued patience and support, please feel free to contact me should you have further questions. Stay well and be safe."

@northwinds Just wanted to add that the German tracking they gave me quotes:
"Out for delivery (9 Days)"
and
"Dec 22 2020 08:04 pm
The parcel has left the parcel center.
Neuenstein, Germany" -
@northwinds Just refreshed the delivery page this morning and now it says 10 days!!!
-
@northwinds Checked again today abd now it's saying:
Out for delivery (14 Days)
Someone is having a laugh!

UPDATE:
Sooo, after 26 days (yes, you heard it right) it finally arrived and with the bag, thing I wasn't expecting because they said they would ship it separately, but whatever. So far so good, at least the wait has been worth, zero problems so far, with a bit of tweaking and the app I have made this thing sound pretty good for what it is. Also in the package of the spark I received two plugs, one for the EU (wich is what I need) and one for USA, however the USA one had the 3 plugs, wich by my understanding that means its grounded (right?), so for you, my US friends, I think the hum problems have been solved for you, and btw I haven't had any problems with hum so far, so I would give the Spark itself a good punctuation but the service and the shipping a bad one. -
@alexcarvalhomyself So Alex, you said you're in Europe?
I'm in the uk and ordered late November.
Are you saying you waited 26 days from getting the "Out for delivery" lin until you received your Spark?
I was originally given 20th Decmber as a delivery date but the "Out for delivery" days keep going up since the 23rd - I'm now at 15 days according to PG/their German courier, so no idea when to expect it? -
@northwinds I placed my order on 2/12, was given a shipping date of 22/12, no updates only a message saying it wouldn’t arrive by Christmas, just checked now and the shipping date has changed to the 6th January.
I bought the over ear headphone bundle, then I watch it get discounted, then the bag bundle offer, all the while the adverts continue to claim “in stock now shipping”.
Not on.
-
@alex-nutt
Also from UK, ordered 11th Dec and was given a shipping date of 31st Dec.
Now (a day before due to ship) it has changed to January 15th.
This was stated as being in stock when I ordered it.
This has got to be some kind of scam. Do they need our money first to buy the materials to make these or something????
What kind of company is this? If they took the money they spend on marketing and channelled it into manufacture/delivery they might be worth dealing with in the future.
To anyone else considering a purchase.......go buy a different brand. We may be dead and buried before we see anything for our money.
Never seen such poor customer service. -
Don't you have the frontiers closed in the UK at the moment or something like that going on? On Europe the Sparks ship for the north of Germany, so maybe the UK is not letting in the packages from other countries, idk. But yeah, im in Europe and I've waited 26 days to be delivered, I think if you can push the customer service maybe you can get it a bit faster. And yeah, PG has some serious shipping and customer services problems, but they do ship (late and maybe out of time but they do), and it come pretty well oackaged and protected and mine came with everything, and about the product itself, it is very good I must say, one of the best purchases I made guitar related in some time. But however if you decide to cancel your order to not go through this poor shipping service and want an amp similar to this I recommend the Yamaha THR, its pretty similar to the Spark.
-
Ordered on the 28th, received on the 30th. I wasn't expecting it to be quick given all the negative comments I see online. So just want to share some good experience with delivery. Probably helps that I live in Asia and this product is made in China. Hang-on guys, Advanced Happy New Year!

@ricover People in other regions have also had some very quick delivery times. It all depends on how many units are unsold in a local warehouse. The amps are shipped in containers so PG has to have a container full for a certain region before it will ship them. If most of a container full but not quite all are already sold they will ship the container, which will leave a few units unsold in that warehouse. So the next person who orders a Spark amp in the region served by that warehouse will get one shipped almost immediately. But once those unsold units are gone, the next people in that region have to wait for another container-full to be shipped, which can take quite a while depending on how orders build up.
