BIAS FX 2 v2.2.2.5080 BETA
-
@dans-huang Hi, Thanks for this. It's still not recognising midi using the plugin version in logic though.

Adding my voice as well- Bias FX 2 beta on Big Sur doesn’t recognize input. Works fine as a plug-in in Reaper.
Will raise a ticket as suggested above.

Friends,
Update on my bug report, reference to 5050 and forward demanding a new login each time if Tonecloud is signed off from within the app…My mistake not recognizing new behavior, but would have thrown more than me off course. GUI brings up the requirement to activate (reactivate). Dumb me following the instructions without a 360 cognitive approach.
Seems the new artifact can be gotten around by just double clicking outside the login screen and the offline activation is preserved.
Bug however still present for me only, tried on two computers…
Stable 5050 and 5080 beta lock out imports of Bias Amp 2. If logged in to reactivate, can import until signing in again with a restart, then everything dumped. Bias Amp 2 inports blocked with message to upgrade to Bias Amp 2 standard. Problem, already done this. Don’t want my computer always online to battle with the bug. Rolled back to 4980 and everything works like it should. We need a fix going forward if this bug is affecting more musicians than me. Anyone able to import Bias Amp 2 data into Bias FX 2? If so, my local problem.
Stay safe guys,

I was successful installing and launching the software. That said I can not get the software to detect an input signal from me focusrite Scarlett interface. It shows THE DEVICE setup in the setting. But no signal is showing when testing. Note the interface is working fine for other software installed. Help ☺️

by the way I am referring to the standalone version in my previous post

@dans-huang I do not see the bias fx 2 in the list that can be checked in the microphone input. How do I add this to the list?

Received a link from Wei Ting late last night to try the new BETA of BIAS FX 2 v2.2.2.5090 - I am VERY pleased to say that on my MAC it runs EXACTLY as expected. I'll pull some Cloud Tones this afternoon, but the interfaces is SNAPPY and not Sluggish, the "Mic INPUT is addressed and the authentication boxes also pop up as expected during install - oh how I have MISSED the TONE I get from these TOOLS - nice job guys, it's really coming along. I'll let you know about Tone Cloud downloads and editing of Presets this evening

I've updated to the 5090 release and everything seems to be working fine with the exception of midi assignments. I'm using the XTONE PRO from XSONIC and the software doesn't recognize any midi input when using the learn function. I've tried setting the switches manually as well by assigning the #cc.... but nothing happens... and this is with macOS Big Sur
** Figured it out**
I had to go back into audio settings in Bias FX2 and change the input device setting to STEREO. Now the "Learn" midi function is working properly.
