Need a good patch for lap steel (Hawaiian style)
-
I'm just learning Bias FX2 and need a little assistance. I'm playing a lap steel (C6, Hawaiian style) and I'm having trouble coming up with a decent patch. Most of the included patches in Bias FX2 are for lead guitar. Ordinarily, I would just play my steel through an old Fender or Vox amp with a compression pedal and some reverb, but I'm not really sure what order to put those in. So far, the closest thing I've found in Bias FX2 is a patch called "Acoustic Like", but it's too bright and the reverb too tinny. Think Santo and Johnny. Any ideas to get me started?
Also, can someone give me an idea of what kind of effects are being used in the lap steel guitar on this song from Friends of Dean Martinez?

@jimnitti Did you ever find something that worked? I’m in the same boat
