Same here. After update same message. In security settings nothing to allow.
Tried to reinstall the 2.2.1.5050 again and got the message
)
after allowing in security settings - installation has gone through.
But it hasn't help: on launch same error message:
No other apps on my Maschine are showing this message.
Older Bias FX works well, as well as Pedal and Amp 2.
Hope for the fix.

I can’t really say why, but exactly this happened last year as well. There was no way to run or install a standalone app on Catalina, while VST worked fine. They fixed it in about a month or so after OS release.
-
@alexanderre probably, it is a problem with the certificate for app approval by apple. apparently PG had to care about it early enough.
-
Honestly guys - I fully understand that changes in code that involve a new OS can be an issue, and it can take some time to resolve. The real concern is that Positive Grid / Team / Developers are saying NOTHING and that's not really ok - the software wasn't FREE, and I'm SURE they are aware of the issue and are trying to get it corrected - a simple post of "we hear you - we are working on it" - or this is a way to work around it until we get the app fixed.
I had about 9 applications that were having challenges running properly in Big Sur - as of Thursday they have ALL been updated to FULL FUNCTION and FULL COMPATIBILITY in Big Sur - and all of them combined did not cost 1/2 of what my Positive Grid Software cost me.
Is their a light at the end of the tunnel PG? Do you even car about the issue? Say something!!
-
@van-flowers "I fully understand that changes in code that involve a new OS can be an issue, and it can take some time to resolve."
If you fully understood that, you wouldn't have updated your OS before the applications you use gave the green light to do so.
A stable platform is what you want in the audio world, not the next, newest OS. You all needed to have waited before upgrading if using PG (and other audio apps) was really important to you. Sometimes that means waiting months before upgrading. But, as I said, a stable platform with functional apps is the goal, not the latest OS. If PG had said "Go ahead and update" and then these issues occurred, you'd have a valid complaint. Since they didn't, you don't.
-
@van-flowers Exactly like this! You're absolute right! Usually programmers informed from Apple about future changes in MacOs, so they have enough time for prepare! Also the right software companies have skils for communicate with customers (not only warning message in the news - that nobody read).... If you can't handle issue in time - so give your customers some compensation things or at least communicate with them)

Same here, running it via DAW (Logic).
-
@ssurtsukov for days I'm trying to solve and today I found this forum.
-
@rvelozo No work! You can open now, but no input signal ((( How the Positive Grid proggrammers can make this kind of shit))??
-
@cr so any solution?
-
You advertise your software and try to sell it , but it is not fully functional , it does not support new laptops with mac os Big sur . Learn to keep up with the times . For example, RME quickly made support for Big Sur , so this is how you need to work .
-
@сергей-н There are still many major audio software apps, including IK Multimedia's Amplitube, who are not yet compatible with Big Sur. If you had any real knowledge of the pro audio world, you wouldn't be making foolish posts like this.
Don't believe me? Have a look for yourself. Scroll down that article and see just how many companies don't support the upgrade yet.
-
@myxolydian the link is not working! Its doesn't matter how many - muuuuch more companies already done this work with their software for Big Sur )
-
@myxolydian I understand everything, there are difficulties , but there were beta versions for diagnostics . This is not an excuse that others are also late with support there are business rules and you need to be the first and not sleep, you need to be equal to the best.
