iPad - Bias FX not recognizing headphones and USB/Lightning interface

I am trying to use Bias FX 2 with a Tascam USB 2x2 interface for my guitar. Bias FX will either recognize the headphones from the iPad's headphone jack and use the attached microphone input, which creates a lot of feedback, OR it will recognize the Tascam input but will not output to the headphones.
I am hoping someone knows a way for me to get Bias FX 2 to recognize the appropriate input (Tascam via Lightning interface) while also allowing me to hear the output via headphones.
