anyone on windows tablet?

@brian-dress That's the point of this script. After the crossfade time (if any) the previous track is muted, saving the CPU. That means that under most circumstances, there will only ever be two primary tracks of plugs running, and 99% of the time it will only be one
-
@brian-dress With this stuff, and some imagination, I don't see why anything like that isn't possible.

If you really come up with specifics you are stuck on, or think that piz is eating too much cpu, we can try to either make a script or a jsfx to handle the action needed. I'm going to next see about an action loader. THIS is what I eventually want to see

Today, Justin told me to try turning on multicore for live FX in preferences and the differences were pretty staggering! I could actually, on my desktop, just leave all the fx live. I'm going to test it on the laptop and see if anything untowards happens
-
@pipelineaudio getting ready to try your files you uploaded though I dont know what to do with the configzip file
Also. In regards to your chart...I am trying to understand what you mean there.
You want actions that are able to take place depending on with row is selected? i dont get it
-
haha that project took me forever to load because of bias fx lol
-
everything loaded and I can see the meters going for input and output levels but I cant get any output in my monitors. really weird
-
Working out some of the logic still, right now I have to step on each pedal a few times before it behaves as it should
Can you see it getting to the input track? If not , make sure you have the right input checked for your setup, make sure monitoring is on on that track, I think I saved it that way.
If that’s ok, can you see it getting into then particular track for the patch you selected?
If that’s ok, then it should be getting to the master, unless it’s one of the spillover tracks, in which case it needs to reach the spillover effects track and then it should go to master
-
@pipelineaudio ill keeptrying.
im getting levels in the input audio track and it is sending it to the one tat I ave monitoring. and that one is getting the input too. probably something i missed
-
Is that track muted? There's some goofiness on initial load yet. Make sure that track is unmuted, also, if the right midi messages arent getting to the Midi Fade X plugin, it will not turn the track up. Which particular RPP are you trying?

MFX template with spillover pitchproof from 2-15-2018

after it loads the projet i have to like go into all the bias fx instances manually for them to actually load up. is that how it works for you?
-
Sometimes, Bias FX seems weird, like the wah for instance won't want to work unless I force it open. Let me get an updated one going, I think I was able to get auto engage working for the bias wah, so that may be simpler
-
Are you sending it the right midi messages to switch the rows? I think there is a dummy pedalboard that could be used to test just in case
-
When you go to extensions/Live Configs is it showing you the actions and scripts for the activate and deactivate?
-
Should look like this:
-
Here's one with Bias Wah...you should already have the needed plugs, actions and scripts, but if not let me know

actually right now im not using midi at all. just tring to see how everything is routed. i am not quite sure how its supposed to work or what output is actually leaving reaper. my interace is wet 100% so no direct monitor going on all output i hear is from reaper but just delay probably from READELAY> reatuner doesnt pickup anything
-
ahhh, yeah, none of the crossfading actions will fire, if you arent sending it midi messages, so you won't hear much of anything....Let me see if I can get a dummy setup going for the midi
-
yeah but i mean its not getting me any of your sounds at all. i dont get how it gets from track 10 to track 3 for tube screamer
-
It cant give you any sounds, the Midi Fade X has all the inputs set to -inf until it gets told to start sliding up....I think i almost have something working for you, let me see if I can hammer this into shape
