Thanks -- I decided to get one of these, which arrived yesterday after finding another Amazon vendor for just US$48, which is great for a 5.8GHz setup. I live in an apt complex of ~1,000 units, so 2.4GHz is out of the question for anything. Other than charging it, I didn't have to do much -- just plugged-it-in and turned-it-on each side, and it just worked, without any noticeable latency.

I have had the opposite experience of those here, seems that with my boss wl-20 and the saramonic 5.8ghz systems i continuously get drops in audio when using my spark amp - not sure if its the bluetooth or some other type of interference is impacting, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
