nexus 10 spark app
-
is there anyway to get my nexus 10 to beable to use the spark app?
-
@mossi123uk If the nexus 10 can serve as a bluetooth speaker, then you might be able to take advantage of the backing tracks built into the Spark app. But I don't think you will be able to use the Spark app to control anything on your Nexus 10 speaker. since the connection to the inner-workings of the Spark is through a special connection directly from the Spark app to the Spark amp. That connection won't work with anything else.

@dhbailey my nexus 10 is a tablet but spark app isnt available because its a old tablet but I was wondering if there is anything I can do to change that

@mossi123uk I'm sorry I misunderstood. There are minimum requirements for operating system versions on phones and tablets to be able to run the Spark app. The app at the Google Play store says it requires version 7.0 or higher. If your device can't run that OS then you'll need to get a newer device.

@dhbailey In the FAQs for the Spark it says;
A: Only iOS/Android currently.
Supported iOS version: iOS 11.3 - 13.2
Supported Android OS version: Android 8.1 - 9 (later) -
@cmcwillieb Wow -- I went to the Google Play store the listing said Android 7.0 or better. They better get things lined properly and be sure the correct information is the same in both places!
