I received my Spark..it look like it fell off the assembly line..How did quality control miss this??

Now we can live with the external damage, BUT...I can i tell if its got an internal issue?

Does anyone Else have a volume Control that seems to have a delay ? When i turn the volume control it seems to take time to actually power up to that level...its not instantaneously...So i want to know if this is an issue caused by..whatever happened to this amp...as i said..its got scuffs and one gouge in the tolex...nothing is rattling inside..this amp appears to be very Solidly Built...But i have no idea what happened to it..and why it got shipped?...Theres no damage to either the Spark box or the shipping box.

So...Is the delay in the volume common??

Get on your keyboard and immediately send a ticket to customer support requesting delivery of a new amp, in that request document all the pertinent information, i.e. the damage and issues with the amp. Send pictures of the shipping box(es) and the damage to the amp. Tell them when you ordered the amp (? When did you?) and when you received it(again when was delivery). If you can video the volume delay you’re talking about.

The order date and delivery are necessary in case you have to begin a chargeback through you credit card issuer. Happy to answer any questions about the process, lord knows I’ve done enough of these kinds of things over the course of my lifetime.

          Best of luck,
          Keoki

When you turn it on it will start at the volume settings in the app settings so the first time you use any of the on amp controls it will first have to read where they are and then react. So does this happen just the first time you twist a knob on continues after that?

Thank you...I realize it's not a tube amp...is there any delay once you turn it on?
Thanks to ALL WHO HAVE ANSWERED

@craigrobi01331 the first twist of the physical knob, yes there can he as it has to pick up the preset setting first.

Replying here for visibility, since this is still an issue.

I've contacted tech support about a month ago about this, and in my case, it turns out it is a software issue.

My spark is up to date, and I had to factory reset it so the master volume / headphone volume knobs would behave properly again.

After saving my own presets in the hardware, the issue creeps back in, which is super annoying. Had to do another reset.

I hope this gets fixed eventually, but since there are not a lot of reports on this, I guess it might be something I'm using in my setup that's causing it?

So, if you have this issue, try factory resetting the amp, and it should become responsive again. I hope it helps!
