Hi. On Friday, after waiting for it since February, which is when I paid for it, I received the Spark amp. My order number is 145615. I need you, please change it since it does not work well:

      • in your video called tone engine, the amplifier, when selecting Bass, the electric guitar sounds like a bass and in acoustic mode the same thing happens.
-the amp doesn't sound good. For it to sound minimally good, I have to put the midrange totally at minimum and the treble totally at maximum and it doesn't matter if I connect it to the app and select any amp.
-When I select any musical base of the app, the music does not come out through the Spark, it does not matter if the Music Volume button is at maximum.
I beg you, please change it for me.
        Greetings

The bass and acoustic amp models aren't there to make your electric guitar sound like either. Your electric guitar will sound like an electric guitar played through a bass amp or an acoustic amp. I don't have a bass but I have found the acoustic amps, especially the PG ones, sound great with my Taylor acoustic.

Did you do the firmware update?

@stinger0625 Hi. The most serious problem is that the music tracks (it does not matter if they are those of smart jam, spotify or apple music) do not sound because of the Spark, apart from the problem it has with the sound since it sounds dirty.
Regarding the subject of bass guitar, I know that an electric guitar is not a bass or an acoustic but in a YouTube video of Positive Grid itself called "tone engine" you can see how a person with a Music Man guitar, at select the Bass option, the amp drops several octaves and sounds exactly like a bass and all this without using the app. If that is not correct, then that video is a fake from the company itself. You can all see what I say in the video and at minute 1.50. Deep down, whether it sounds like an electric bass or not is secondary. The problem is the Music Volume button since absolutely nothing works and the sound muddy.

Did you check to see if there are two Spark Bluetooth connections between your tablet/or phone and the Spark? It requires the Spark "Audio" Bluetooth connection to push music through the Spark as well as a separate Spark BT connection to manipulate the Spark controls.

Sounds like you could benefit, as I did, by sitting down with the manual and the amp and simply reading the manual and playing with the amp. I also recommend visiting the Spark Help Center to read up on any other issues that might be helpful. The Spark is not the most intuitive piece of electronics I've owned and its taken me a few hours to explore it. Good luck!!

@domdv71 only thing I can guess is he was using some kind of emulator or it was dubbed as he says he didn't have his bass with him.

It would be nice for PG to get us out of doubts regarding the bass and the youtube video.
