Tone Cloud Upload Question
-
I have a question regarding uploading presets to Tone Cloud. I’ve been uploading some mostly for backup purposes, but I’ve noticed if I start with an existing preset and upload it the original creator is listed in Tone Cloud under it. Is there any way to start from scratch? To get around this I just use my initials as a tag and can find mine quickly. Still I find it odd.

@valascia The way around it is to create your own "blank slate" with each effect and the amp model turned off. Save that to your device. Then start with that and recreate the same effects/amp as you wish. If you are starting with an already-uploaded tone and then altering that, take a screen shot of it and rebuild it starting with your own blank slate. Then when you upload it your name will show as the creator. But are you really the creator if you're starting with someone else's work? I think that PG needs to add some more fields, including an "Edited by:" field where your name would be placed if you start with someone else's tone while the original creator's name would remain as the creator.

Yeah with these I am. About the only thing that remains is the amp everything is is changed or replaced. The blank slate helps for new ideas for tones that I have.
