Spark 40 IPad/IPhone Connection Alternative
-
I have read in this forum that some are connected to the iPad/iPhone through the headphone jack.
I recommend an alternative method:
Purchase a 1.5m Instrument USB OTG Cable Lightning to Type-B Male to Male.Use this to connect your Spark 40 directly into the iPad/iPhone and use your favorite DAW. It sounds great and I’ve had no issues.using it with Garageband is a breeze.
I ordered it from AliExpress and it arrived in 3 days. Here’s the link:

@fauxboisidaho A little more expensive way to do it is to use the ipad lightning camera adaptor and a cheap behringer guitar usb interface. Works well with garage band also

If you do this, you have this cord going from ipad into the spark, but if you are using a daw on a computer, how do you get the spark to connect to your computer?

I don’t know for a fact but it would seem to me that a USB OTG Type A to Type-B (Male to Male) could run from the amp to a USB A socket on your computer...
