So.. if I don't have Spotify or Apple music, how does one find a song for analysis?

I don't know about Apple Music, but Spotify actually streams tracks from YouTube, so you can skip Spotify and source YouTube directly. Anywhere in the app that you see a search tool you can search on YouTube, just start the search text with "YouTube" followed by any other parameters you choose. Ex: "YouTube backing tracks", or "YouTube [name of song]", etc. You can also do a voice search anywhere you see a microphone icon.
Thing is though, you can't batch import a whole playlist or multiple songs via a YouTube search, just one song at a time. You can through Spark's Spotify connection. Fyi, the free version of the Spotify app works just fine for this purpose if you install the app and create an account.

Do you have Tidal, Deezer, or other music streaming services? If you don't have Spotify or Apple Music, you may find a song from Tidal for analysis. Tidal offers 70+ million songs, covering almost all types of music on various filed. You might as well try Tidal songs on your device. Do note: Tidal doesn't support free premium, so you must subscribe to it and you can listen to Tidal music. For offline use of Tidal songs on other devices, a Tidal music converter is a must. Such a tool is designed to locally save songs from Tidal to local folder for offline playback without limits.

Except for finding songs on Spotify and Apple Music, Amazon Music could be a good place to find songs from all over the world. With Tunelf Amatune Music Converter - an Amazon Music downloader, you are able to download music from Amazon and then use Amazon songs anywhere.

There are many other streaming music services to find songs and playlists, such as Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, YouTube Music.
No matter which one you choose finally, the best way is to get a consistent tool to make streaming music better. Just visit DRmare Software and then you can find the best music converters for Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, etc. to convert streaming music to MP3, FLAC, WAV, etc.
Have fun with all music and playlists.

If you don't have Spotify or Apple Music, you can use other software to listen to songs, such as Amazon, Pandora, etc. You can also use third-party music conversion softwares such as DumpMedia Apple Music Converter, TunesFun Apple Music Converter, TunesSolo Apple Music Converter, etc. to download songs so that you don't need to listen to songs through the original music software.

Well, if you don't have Apple Music, you can fine a song from the Apple Music web player. Then you can try a music convert to download the song you want to analyze. Apple Music Unlocker is a recommended one. You can download the lossless track for free with this tool.
