Sonoma Wireworks GuitarJack Stage
-
Sonoma Wireworks just sent this GuitarJack Stage here to test out. As their StudioJack Mini has become my main iOS interface, I have had a lot of time to test their software and hardware functionality and it passes with flying colors, I'd expect the same and more from this and will keep you posted.
This device has separate guitar and mic inputs, a 1/4" TRS headphone out and, get this
Two line outs on SEPARATE 1/4"s!
4 midi switches, plus an expression input
5 MIDI CC knobs for quickly adjusting gain and tone per program on the flyPass thru charging on a REAL 9v adapter (the regular 2.1mm jack you can find anywhere)
As this also has ASIO drivers, this to me is the Cadilac of iOS interfaces and will be no slouch for desktop/laptop duties as well. Very handy all in one package that I will be putting through its paces shortly

Definitely share your thoughts. I have been eyeing that and the IK Stomp I/O. I passed on the Apogee GIO because it was not class compliant.

Pretty cool!

@pipelineaudio Pretty cool!

I still haven’t found a way to assign the amp knobs in biasfx iPad to midi ccs the way you can on biasfx desktop. Most of the other knobs are easy enough
-
The iPad holder and integrated expression pedal on the iRig Stomp make it much more convenient to me, but still no word on whether it has an actual (not asio4all) asio driver, which makes the GuitarJack Stage and studio jack mini much more useful for my purposes
-
I like the knobs on the stage. They send MIDI CC info right?
-
Yup, perfectly on BiasFX Desktop, can't figure how to do it for the amp knobs on BiasFX iPad
-
@pipelineaudio
AFAIK in BiasFx mobile amp knobs cannot be controlled via CC messages -
Well, holy crap guys! You can run the iRig Blueboard alongside the GuitarJack Stage for another four MIDI pedals and 2 expression inputs!

Are you saying that Bias Fx can receive midi messages from many sources at the same time?
what if I buy 2 iRig blueboards? do you think they will work along together? -
@salvatore-di-piazza With regard to two blueboards, no, won't work... from IK's FAQ:
1.1 Can I use multiple BlueBoards at the same time with the same device?
No. Only one BlueBoard can be connected to a given device at a time. -
Seems like if you are running midimittr, it doesn’t care, it just sends them all to the same output...I just tried blueboard plus GuitarJack Stage plus iPhone 5 midi and sent them all to Tonestack and it read them, let me try Bias fx to do the same thing

@pipelineaudio I wouldn't be surprised if it worked in the momentary (Bluetooth) mode that does not require the app.
