Midi issue on fx2

Hi, I have been using bias fx for many years now and i’m very happy with it. In the new version, however, I found myself with unexpected novelties that make its use quite uncomfortable.
1- I don't understand why they removed the midi function of selecting patches with the two buttons next and prev preset.
This function facilitated mine a lot by using my little midi BlueBoard Pedalboard. How will I do it now?
2- In the new version there is the scene function which is really interesting! however there is a problem ... when the live view window is not visible in the iPad the software does not respond to the scene change via the MIDI pedal, and this is really incomprehensible
