Spark smells of mould and cuts the tone...

Hello,
I'm from Germany and I got my first
Spark about 3 Weeks ago. There were two problems right away. I unpacked it and it smells awfully of mould...even from 6 ft away....
The other problem is, that when I hit a string - just the amp, not connected to the App - the tone stops, although the string is still swinging....does anybody have the same problems?
The guys from Positive Grid where just great! They send me a second Spark right away and took care of the first one beeing collected by the postman..BUT: The same two problems with the second one!!!
I'm quit dissapointed...Any idea?

Dieser Gestank legt sich irgendwann. Etwas Geduld. Kommt bei Asienware schon mal vor.Das Problem mit dem absterbenden Ton liegt am Noisegate. Das ist verbesserungswürdig.
Der Amp hat oft ein Problem mit heftigem Brummen. Wenn das bei Dir auch der Fall ist musst Du das Netzteil gegen ein geerdetes austauschen.
Das was jetzt noch an unerwünschten Nebengeräuchen übrigbleibt lässt sich mit dem Noisegate abdämpfen. Ich nehme es allerdings nur dazu, lasse aber beide Regler auf ganz links, das hilft schon. Dreht man den linken Regler aber nur etwas auf sind wir bei deinem 2. Problem....der Ton stirbt ab.
