      @johnchuter just to confirm, did this power supply work and resolve the hum problem? Not sure if your post is saying that it did or it should!

        I had the same problem and contacted Positive grid who asked a few questions then agreed to sending out an earthed power supply.

          They are shipping the 3 pin power supplies as standard now arnt they? The two pin was causing the buzzing (in UK) I believe

              @pnfinn No that would not work -- That device only outputs 12W max, which means that at 19V, the amperage is .6 (that is point-6, just over 1/2 an amp) and the Spark needs at least 2.4A (you can always use a power supply that provides more amps because the device will only use what it needs). You need something that plugs into the mains, preferably with 3 prongs for proper grounding.
