Last Chance Received yet?

Just received my Spark 40. Came via UPS with no warning front PG. PG page still says expected shipping July 31st. Ordered April 23rd number 192xxx so exactly 3 months with no comms from PG.
Will try it out in bit hope it was worth the wait!
Best of luck to you all.

My Spark 40 arrived today in Michigan. I paid for it Feb 11. Thanks to PG some customers who ordered in May got their orders before I did. Go figure. But lucky them. I just pulled it out of the box and haven't plugged in my Strat yet.
The fit and finish is very nice. It's a little on the heavy side and the leather carrying strap is unique. I haven't heard it yet but for $200 I'm impressed. If it sounds good it's a deal that's hard to match.
The on-board dials feel smooth. The tiny volume dial is pretty odd. Another thing tiny is the print on the instruction sheet. Why print it that way ?
I look foward to hearing the Spark and seeing how well the app works. For such a low price I wonder how much money PG is making off this new practice amp. -
@steve-greenwood Your wait was far less than many who paid months earlier, but good for you. It's a great deal for a couple hundred bucks.

Got my amp on the 27th, ordered Feb #143xxx. So far so good. No duty. I'm in Canada

@davideo Well, I don't want to upset anyone, but I ordered my first Spark June 28th & received last night, July30th. I live in Texas in the DFW area. Yes, I ordered a 2nd one because I wanted that bag & for now they don't offer it separately. I had read where a few people had purchased, received & sold theirs at a profit, so I took a chance that I could do the same or give it to my son. He didn't seem interested, so I've already made a deal with one of his friends, for my cost & a case of beer, LOL. I've only had time to mess with it for about an hour & I'm pleased with my purchase. I struggle with technology & didn't know if I'd be able to figure it out. I resolved to the thought that if I couldn't, I'd have a really cool Bluetooth speaker, LOL. Good luck everyone
-
@davideo I'm glad you got your amp. Why you were so lucky while many of who ordered many weeks and months before you are still waiting is unforgivable on the part of PG.

@cratica
Same boat as you, I'm in 143XXX and no notification yet.. Already posted that I'm cancelling my order today.. -
Ordered mine June 23
Status changed to "in transit" July 1
Later changed to just"ordered"
Shipping estimated to be Aug 12-20.
It just showed up at my door in PA on July 31. Haven't tried it yet, but it has an ungrounded power supply.
Positive grid page still saying it hasn't shipped yet.UPS alerted me of pending delivery the day before I got it. If I had checked the details and seen the shipping weight I might have realized what it was, but the source info did not identify the sender. I thought it was strings I had ordered from Amazon.
UPDATE:
Just tried it with my acoustic and no noises or hum issues, before and after a firmware update. Was not able to register it (see other posts--same issue).UPDATE 2
PG registered the amp for me the next day and sent me a link to the ProSonus Studio One install. Looks way over my head unless I can find a simple how-to.
I tried my electric guitar today. Any built-in settings with gain gave a loud hum. Grounding through USB to a grounded laptop made it totally quiet. I sent a help message to PG requesting a grounded power supply along with a video demonstrating how grounding fixed the hum (per suggestion on the "hum" string on this forum--THANKS guys). I'll let you know their response. -
@kreegrr Did you ever use the support button above to ask them to look at your specific order number? I think that is what finally got me mine. It is worth it once you get it.
-
Ordered 9 Jul, delivered 30 Jul to Auckland, New Zealand.
-
Ordered March 1st, received today July 31st. No notification. Shipping status on website is in between ordered and shipped.
-
Received mine 7/29. Ordered 3/25. I am assuming that mine was one of the “shipped out of sequence” that the CEO spoke of in his letter since my order number was 164xxx. I will say this...YOU AINT GETTING IT BACK!!!!
-
@stinger0625
You can say that again! I sent an email the last week of June and asked how long do I wait before I call this a scam and request a full refund. And lo and behold, I got a tracking # and shipped! It DOES live up to the hype!! 🤩 -
@stinger0625 At this point there's not much they can do to change my mind from cancelling my order... I had a convo with them about my shipping address in April, fast forward today, I check my status and they're asking me for my shipping details all over again. Every time they say they're all set after giving them the info.. 7 months waiting and my patience has run out.
-
@kreegrr I think they have changed their consolidator and may be asking to confirm addresses. There WAS a major glitch and I agree has not been handled well but again it is worth the wait and the best course seems to be the customer support button at the top of the page.

The pre-order "volume" is BS, I'm sure (on the screen where it says Last Chance). It goes up, then down, then up, randomly trying to entice the fear of missing out by indicating there is only 60 - 90 left. It's a marketing trick and should be removed as it's clearly crap.

Hi, I just received my Spark amp few days ago. I am a senior with little knowledge on softwares. I don't have any Iphone nor Apple PC. Can Spark amp interface works on PC with window 8.1? Thank you.@chkatz I am the Last Chance special purchased by my son in Singapore sometime in Mid March. The unit is to be sent to me as a present in Malaysia. Surprisingly, without any notifications, I received the Spark amp today (6th. July). Hope you will be getting your amp soon. Cheer!!!!

@i-am-kooksm The app to control the amp is for iOS (Apple iPhone or iPad) or Android (smart phones or tablets). There isn't a PC or Mac app for controlling the amp. Unless or until PG brings out a PC/Mac app to control the amp your best bet is to purchase the least expensive tablet (Android tablets are much cheaper than iPads) which will meet the minimum operating system requirement. The Spark Amp App itself doesn't take up a lot of space on a device -- additional space will be taken up by whatever tones you download from the tonecloud, but if that's about all you use the device for, you can buy the device with the smallest amount of memory.
