Fixed: hardware solution for humming problem

@telestrats53 Hey mate. Are you sure your outlet is grounded?
-
@alessandro-dantas Good question Alessandro. I assume that it is, but I've not checked. We just sold our house an we are in the middle of moving to another. I'll be in the new place Thursday, so I'll see how the amp does there. If no improvement, I'll check to see if the new outlet is grounded. Thanks.

Update: PG responded to my ticket. They asked that I update firmware to latest version, that did nothing. They then asked me to record a short video to document the issue, so I did. I'll keep you guys posted.
I think my case is different as the guitar sound is NOT coming thru at all, I'm getting pure 100% noise.

@telestrats53 yeah, mine has been working fine since getting the new cord. I’m unfortunately not savvy enough to suggest what else might be helpful.

Some suggested you can plug the USB connection into a PC and ground it that way. Is that not working? Seems like the easiest way to work around the issue if so. I'm no electrician, but I thought the purpose of grounding a device is so you don't shock/kill the user. So if the AMP has a grounding issue, somebody could get seriously hurt or killed if there's some kind of failure inside the device and the current goes through the user and not to ground. So this may be more than just an hum issue.
Hello, I just tried this, but somehow this was muting any sound from the backing tracks; the hum was gone, because then my computer was taking care of the grounding, but having no sound for the backing tracks is an issue.
Backing tracks work correctly if I unplug the USB cable, but of course the hum comes back.

Before you drill a hole in your Spark, consider trying a grounded power supply.
It worked well for me, see how the hum goes away when I change the power supply: https://streamable.com/clk9l0
Also, you could just attach that wire to the outer usb plug instead of drilling a hole.Excellent video (audio) proof that this works- Name of that brick is? Thanks!

@m-cohomology I'm having this issue too, did you find a fix?
Thanks
