Notes seemed lost when I sweep or pick v quickly

I have a macbook pro 2018 with irig hd.
I have 5 guitars some new some with age and it happens to all of them.
While I sweep it seems like it cuts out and only picks up most notes. Like theres missing definition. The staccato is wonky.
I'm a sufficient guitar player and sweeping / alternate picking is something I tried to specialise in. It's like some notes are not as well defined.

I have tried to troubleshoot my own playing to make sure it's not me by starting slow and slowly getting faster and it's at the fast end of things the signal or note begins to either disappear or not register.
Can I get some advice please. I'm not beyond thinking it's my fault in some way =/
