      Just downloaded bias fx 2.

I do have the ultimate license in bias fx mobile.

The transfer completed and I have like 8 amps lol. So what transfers over from Ultimate?

Edit: it also appears I cannot import amps from bias amp 2 without purchasing an upgraded bias fx 2 license

Edit 2: it also appears I cannot use custom IR unless I purchase a bias fx 2 upgrade pack

Sidenote: in checking my bias fx universal license purchases I remember the launch debacle when Ultimate was not an initial offering, only standard and essential were. So I purchased essential only to turn around and be presented with Ultimate a few days later which I also purchased without any reimbursement for essential. Positive Grid keeps on giving...my money to themselves

Well looks like nembrini Audio gonna get my money after all. The quality of the modeling is far and away better than bias amp 2. Only a few models but they get the tones I want anyway

Similar experience here...I've got four expansion packs in FX1 (acoustic, bass, classic 60's, metal sig), only the first two transferred across. Makes the new version pretty useless...as an example, I've gone from from14 drive pedals in FX 1 (all purchased via expansion packs, which are "supposed" to carry over) to only two drive pedals in FX 2. FX 2 is basically unusable as is (unless I spend more $, which is pretty unlikely based on the experience so far). Crazy launch strategy when there's so many other options available

Similar concern here. I bought the ultimate pack back in April, and when the news around version 2 came around I was pretty excited.

Now it's here and...I have almost nothing that carries over. Am I really expected to fork over another $100 (sorry, it would be $80 with the 'generous' $20 discount) just to use this new version?!

I can understand tones having issues transferring into a new engine, but as far as I can see I only have access to the free pedals/amps. What exactly has transferred over? Am I missing something?

Baffling decision, this has sapped all and any enthusiasm I had for the platform.

                  edit:

As a clear comparison between sticking with Bias FX 1 or upgrading to version 2:

                  • I've already bought the Ultimate pack for Bias FX 1, and this does not appear to transfer anything over to 2
                  • Most of my tones that I've set up won't transfer over to 2 and will need to be recreated
                  • In order to recreate the tones that I'm using already, I'll need to spend $80 on an 'Elite' license, and then manually recreate everything from scratch

Why would I want to spend $80 to give myself more work? The benefits of version 2 are evolution, not revolution it seems. If they offered existing Bias FX 1 users a $20 or so upgrade cost then I could stomach that, but paying almost full price again is nauseating.

                    Hi!
Same issue here. I got all expansions available on Bias FX 1 what had cost quite much money. PG in FAQ declared that all expansion packs would be transferred. I run the transfer and got almost nothing. And what f****d me up was renaming amps models to „V2” - of course unavailabe for users of BFx1. Of course V1 is also unavailable. And I bet that We will get no more support and updates for Bias FX 1, so we will be in some time compelled to buy Bias FX 2. Such a strategy to tell us that we are better now, but really we are in black hole.

I have got a notion to the board of Positive Grid - you should be renamed to Positive Greed!

And other developers would make it as an update but PG, they are selling it as a new product. What a scam!

                      Hi,

                      yes, this is disappointing.
I finally made a check and the licensing model for Bias FX 2 Mobile is made in a such way that it is more convenient to buy a new elite/utimate license, in the end. There is not way to have AMP2 and pedal and dual ampli functionalities alone as a pack, for example.
Anyhow you have to rebuy something, even if migrated from Bias FX 1 mobile. Then I did buy it again, but I'm disappointed.
This is a very good product, really, but PG should treat loyal users better (two Elite licenses fx 1 and fx 2). I'm done.

Another thing : just 1 sec ago I saw that the prices went up all of a sudden!
The Elite license moved from 54.99 Eur to 74.99 Eur. This is not stock trading!!! Hey, PG, again, not fair!

@brian-dress Just looking at what transfers without paying for anything new yet and I think many will be disappointed before they pay for any upgrades. Why? well all my Expansion FX and Amps transferred but without paying money a lot of the basic stuff (yes like WAH Compressor etc) are Locked

I was able to transfer six of seven expansion packs. Classic 60s was not transferred.

@sergio-sala if you mean your "purchased extras" I totally agree as they have made it so you can't even review the page that shows what you paid for previously and puts a Redirect Popup over the top of everything that you can not dismiss

Which states you can no longer purchase in app features in BFX1 so for people who don't want BFX2 and have not made some or all of the purchases they planned on they are SCREWED and are being Gently Forced to upgrade

*Funny part is looks like BFX1 will still be available from the Crapstore but now it's in-app purchases are crippled, can't wait to see the posts from people who buy BFX1 after this and think it has in-app purchase as shown in said Crapstore only to open the app after purchase go to get them and get greeted by a redirect telling you you have to buy BFX2 if you want them now - not very well thought out and indicates something I know people are going to rage over - good job

Right. I can’t understand why we are not able at least to review our own lists of pedals in the expansion packs. It would be enough if they lock new purchases, but not the view.

@sergio-sala I think they are transferred but do not look like it in the Shopping Cart Page - I checked that too and I have the FX from the previous 60's pack but seems they added some to it we do not have

go to a preset and Add FX to see if they are available that is how I checked
