China to US delivery
-
Does anyone Know of the next batch of sparks delivery to the US from china?
-
My guess is that they are arriving right now and positive grid would send them out for free to all those YouTube bloggers for advertisement so that they can continue to sell even more of those last chance special pre-orders.
I am sure that you and and then people who pre-ordered and paid for them many months ago will never see them.
-
Finally I just received a reply from positive grid. I am a power supporter and I ordered mine in November. After I ordered, I told my friends who then ordered there spark. My friend has received his spark a while ago and he ordered AFTER me. When I ask positive grid why, here is what they responded back to me.
We know this is extremely frustrating, as you have been waiting a long time and now there’s further uncertainty regarding your delivery date.

While I can understand how you must feel not receiving yours yet, but making a statement that the none of the rest of us will ever see them is plain stupid. Do you have concrete proof that the amps will never be delivered...beyond your own situation?

@bluesman55
It was a sarcastic remark made out of frustration what are the awful current caused by positive grid. Skipping over some customers and then sending orders to other customers on their whim is very frustrating and very unfair. -
@tonyfederici1964 Some time ago, PG explained that they were shipping by region. Some folks in the UK ordered much later than me, but got their Spark sooner. If I understand it correctly, they gather all the orders for a specific region and (filling pallets and containers) ship them together. HTH.

Many thanks for your reply, that is very kind of you. I sincerely understand about shipping to certain regions as you explained, this makes total sense.
What does not make sense are the following
-
I pre-order my spark amp in November. A few days later, I tell my music friend who lives near me. He then pre-order his spark amp. My friend has already received his spark amp (which I am happy about), but mine is nowhere to be seen.
-
when I asked positive grid about this, they send me an email which said the following, (We know this is extremely frustrating, as you have been waiting a long time and now there’s further uncertainty regarding your delivery date).
What is this (and now there’s further uncertainty regarding your delivery date)
That positive grid is talking about AS THIS WOULD EFFECT US ALL.What are they not telling us?
Are they trying to hide something? My opinion only. If they are delaying orders to fix a problem (grounding issues, humming problems, new power supply unit or plug, or whatever), this is totally understandable and I would be more then happy to wait as I am sure most of us would be as Nobody wants to receive a defective product. However none of us know if this is the case or not, as we all have had multiple broken promises by positive grid
On shipping dates, fake or bogus tracking information and so on.All most of us are asking for is truthful upfront honest correct information from positive grid without a B.S. cover story. They asked for our money upfront, we all paid it in good faith. In good faith, having positive grid give us honest information in return is what I would expect.

@tonyfederici1964 No question that PG failed, repeatedly, in communication. They also enlisted Zendesk, which aggravated the situation. People would reach out to PG with an issue and then receive a response from Zendesk saying their question had been answered.
My understanding is that PG faced two challenges: in the midst of production, of the suppliers had to shutter their factory, meaning production of amps had to stop while a new supplier was sourced.
Further, once they started shipping, several portals into receiving countries closed due to the pandemic, so shipments failed to move into distribution.
I suspect that no one at PG has answers (when will my amp arrive?) but I bet they deliver every amp ordered.
Mostly, I got the build quality I was hoping for. The amp itself is beyond my limited talent, but because i have it, I’m getting better every day and enjoying the amp even more than I expected. Hope you have yours soon. -
Thanks very kind of you. Glad your spark arrived, it is uplifting that you are enjoying it so much. This helps the rest of us to have patience for our spark amp. Thanks again.
