Is there a downloadable manual for BIAS FX2 that describes different effects in depth - the function of different knobs etc? UI is nice but occasionally it obfuscates even a label on the knob.

I don't think there is an official PG one. I find it really odd that PG don't produce product manuals.

I agree - I am familiar with some of the effects but many (especially rack based ones) I have never seen in my life. And people that developed UI decided that cool effect of shading the front of device is more important that being able to read to label on the effect.

            As one example:
Tube Compressor (available at Pro level) is so far my fav compressor effect. I found couple posts describing mapping of BIAS FX amps and effect onto real world devices:
            Amp Models
            Effects Models

So Tube Compressor is UREI1176LN Compressor
Googling for manual I found this thing:
            UREI1176LN Manual

It does not exactly match the model of UREI1176LN used in BIAS FX but it is close enough. And it explains process of choosing correct compression setting perfectly - now I can actually get nice tone for clean chord melody setting.
So something like this would really be useful in BIAS FX manual. In the absence of it one can possibly hunt for device manuals online.
