Reviews from those who have received their sparks.

I would like to hear some reviews, from those of you who have received your spark.
I think I have watched just about every pro-youtuber review. But I would like to hear a real world review from a normal everyday sort of person.- How does it sound?
- Are you having the humming/buzzing problem we keep hearing about?
- How is the functionality of the app on android vs apple?
- What is your favorite amp model ?
- How does it compare to the Yamaha Thr amps? I am hoping I can replace my thr with the spark.
I ordered my spark two days ago, and can't wait to try it :) too bad it will be June or July before I get it. I hope it's worth the wait.

@wireman24 Here's a post I made several months ago. I rec'd my Spark very early.

Long story short, there are pros and cons to both the Spark and the THR models.

How does it compare to the Yamaha Thr amps? I am hoping I can replace my thr with the sparkIt sounds great to my ear. Full-bodied, plenty loud enough for my purposes (jamming, noodling), with more variety at my fingertips than I’ll ever come close to trying.
Have not experienced the buzzing I’ve heard about. I do find the distortion created from a misplayed string (buzz) to be a little annoying, but I’m correcting that by playing cleaner ;)
I do not have an Android device. Connectivity and usability on my iPhone and iPad Pro have been excellent.
I don’t have a favourite amp and have found several combinations of amp/pedals that are simply better than what I’ve used before. The Spark replaces two other amps; a small Block Rocker, which a really like because it’s rechargeable and an ancient Traynor amp with a 15” EV speaker I use for an electronic drum kit. No experience with the Yamaha model to which you refer.
I did want to say the build quality and fit and finish are really excellent. This may not be important to someone who’s purely music-focused, but it is a pretty little piece and PG deserves full credit for that.
All in all, I think it represents great value for price.
