Power supporter user, think I got a DUD, at least i hope so

Why are there no guides to update firmware? They mention connecting to a PC and using the "Updater Tool"...which is nowhere. ??

@bigdaddy
I updated the firmware today to 1.1.3.13.The humming and buzzing is still there. I noticed that the trick with the USB-Cable only works, if my MacBook is charging.
So in my opinion it has something to do with the ground/earth.But that is no practical solution, to only use the amp with the USB-Cable to my Macbook wich is connected to a power socket.
I made a video of the problem.

Hi; can you give us a link for the v1.1.3.13 firmware pls? Thx

@fabian-hirschmann same problem here

I too have this issue. Someone said they solved it by using a laptop charger which are properly grounded. Of course you would have to find a charger with the proper specifications and connector. Still might be faster than waiting for Positive Grid.

@jonahkirk Yes, now i use the Laptop Ac Adapter without hum

well let us know if they ask you to send the faulty ac adaptor back before they send a replacement adapter.
It's obvious these adaptors don't have the sufficient noise suppressors inside them, I wonder if they will recall them, or deal with this issue case by case. -
@crystalpit Here is what PG tech sent to me. "To verify if a grounded power supply improves the noise level in your specific environment, we will source, test, and ship a power supply to you. Please note that due to the impact COVID-19 is having on global supply chains, the shipping of the power supply may take longer than anticipated. We’ll keep you updated on its status."
