Not sure you understand the definition of "promised", or how your first part of that post tallies with the second. Is it meant to be ironic?

Did you get your refund? Is that why you're so pissed off? Refunder's remorse?

@mcgillivray-kevin Having a hard time following simple posts... eh?? I'm told that drugs fog the brain and make people act erratic and belligerent. Kind of like you act on this forum.

@mcgillivray-kevin -I understand the problem with orders placed before or at the beginning of the virus, that is not the fault of PG. But when PG still has problems shipping orders in a 2 month time frame but still states that 2 months delivery on their site when you place NEW orders, how honest is that? I think people have every right to expect honesty and be mad when they are lied to.

@ritchie - Does your easy solution to hum and noise involve modifying the amp to ground or buying a grounded power supply? Shouldn't PG be applying the fix instead of a customer who just waited 6 months while they held and used your money?

The website says "Estimated delivery", it promises nothing, there are no lies there. There's even a COVID-19 delay warning. As Eric Sands said on the PG live event over on facebook last night, they can only give the information that they are given by the suppliers and couriers as time goes on. They're not in full control of the whole process.

IMO, people are getting way too bent out of shape over 'lies' that don't exist.

@mcgillivray-kevin - If PG feels the 2 month estimate is even close to being achievable, let them simply say so here in the forum. They have sidestepped commenting on that. Everything I've seen here leads me to believe otherwise but of course I can only see whats posted here, I don't know what PG knows. They could easily post a running tally of units shipped and or a range of what order numbers have shipped. I could be wrong but I thought they said long ago they were shipping 1000 units a day. If that were true they should be close to caught up by now. Even if they are still way behind I'm not faulting that, just asking for them to communicate better and honest about expected delivery dates. If PG does believes things have improved enough that they can deliver prepaid orders reasonably close to a 2 month timeframe you are right there is no lie and I am wrong. At this point PG should have a good idea how realistic the timeframe is. If they have a good idea that they won't ship on time but still advertising they will, that is at the very least dishonest. Guess mainly what I saying is PG could keep people better informed. If it's still a 4 or 6 month wait just say so.

They said, long ago, that they were manufacturing 1000 units a day, not shipping them (in fact they might only have said they had the capacity to manufacture 1000 a day).

I agree they need to give more concise and clear information, but I disagree with the whole 'dishonesty' thing. Marketing is what it is.

@mcgillivray-kevin Ahhh, do you "baaaa baaaa" when Positive Grid asks you to, too? LOL

Positive Grid could send someone a box full of rocks and Kevin McGillivray would blame the rocks, or the shipping company. Just know that in Kevin's world, Positive Grid can do no wrong and it's EVERYONE else's fault for the EXTREMELY dishonest shipping estimates, grounding issue, lack of instructions packed, software bugs, etc.

@k-mcg Wow! How many accounts do you have Kevin McGillvray? One for work at Positive Grid and one for home? Do you upvote your own posts? Given the dishonesty of Positive Grid, I am not surprised at all they have you posting gushing reviews about Positive Grid products and demeaning anyone who has a problem. You are part of the problem. SMH

Same account, idiot. Seems there's a moron on here that likes to use people's real names in posts - kinda creepy, y'know? - so I thought it'd be prudent to change my username so they don't have to spell my troublesome last name so much. It took them ages to get it right, bless them, so this should help them out.

@k-mcg "You're so good at winning" Hey Kevin McSilliRay , you FINALLY said something truthful! Now, go back to being a troll for Positive Grid and run off anyone who dares speak anything negative about your company. You are much more entertaining in that role.

OF COURSE its a scam. Regardless of the excuses they give, the fact is they have collected over $12 MILLION of peoples money, promising shipping dates that they did not come close to, and the where the SCAM part comes in, is that they are STILL doing this today. Their website estimates for a customer who buys TODAY, that they will ship July-Aug. They know at this point this isn't correct and they still post it. Willful false advertising and fraud. Very simple.

Just the fact that there are so many google results for "Is Positive Grid / Spark Amp a scam?" should tell you something. Even on their own website forum there are articles like these discussing if its a scam. www.Positivegridscam.com

When I ordered in Feb the site's estimated delivery was May - then COVID hit and it was delayed. Got mine this week and it's only 2 months late so I don't think that's unreasonable. I've backed items on Kickstarter that took much longer.

I have waited 139 days now without an amp. There is no way to talk to anyone at Positive Grid to get a good answer. Has anyone else waited this long? Also, mine showed shipped and waiting at customs (???), now it doesn’t show shipped.
