I would like to use a Garageband automation to switch between presets in Bias FX desktop. What is the best way to do this?

I know that I can use Garageband automations to toggle individual components, via the following:

      1. Within Garageband, open the Bias FX plugin
      2. Right-click on a component (an amp, a pedal, or whatever)
      3. Select "Automation" and set an automation value

This works OK, however I would instead like to toggle between entire presets. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this using a Garageband automation?

Is there perhaps an altogether different approach that I can take to make this happen?

I am using Bias FX 2 desktop and Garageband.

      Thanks for any help!

Here is the response that I received from the Support team, in case anyone else runs into the same problem:

"Automation doesn't currently support preset changing. MIDI PC is required for such functionality.

        See https://help.positivegrid.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027975151-How-to-Use-MIDI-Control-in-BIAS-FX-2-Standalone-Version-?source=search&auth_token=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJhY2NvdW50X2lkIjo0MzY4NjMsInVzZXJfaWQiOjM5Njg0MDQ3OTU5MSwidGlja2V0X2lkIjoxNTQyMzEsImNoYW5uZWxfaWQiOjYzLCJ0eXBlIjoiU0VBUkNIIiwiZXhwIjoxNTkwMDI4MjQ4fQ.3ts7D45TPHeuoi5EZYThHec5RXBAOGYj1VLrobZ3sZc

        Hope that helps!"
