Hello. I just purchased Bias fx 2 and I’m having a hard time getting it to work. The main problem seems to be that it doesn’t list my Alesis io2 as a possible device. The device works perfectly with Cubase but Bias Fx doesn’t find it. Any suggestions?

@hakanenlauri Does Alesis io2 use ASIO4All for an ASIO driver?

@myxolydian Unfortunately not. I do have ASIO4all driver as well and Bias Fx does recognize that.

Sounds like a single client ASIO driver. it is likely this driver is in use in another (possibly hidden) application

@pipelineaudio How would I now if that is the case? I have no other applications using the driver (that I know of) and it still doesn't show up on the list.

Here's what it looks like at my end:

Note that io|2 shows up as the Active MIDI input.

And then, if I delete ASIO4All, I get this:

              Any thoughts?

@hakanenlauri I looked it up, and it appears that your Alesis io2 doesn't have an ASIO driver, and uses ASIO4All--that's why you don't seen any ASIO device listed when you remove ASIO4All. It will continue showing up as an active MIDI input though.

You said ASIO4All wasn't being recognized by FX2, but your screenshot shows it there just fine. Have you configured ASIO4All to work with your Alesis io2?

@myxolydian Thank you. I had not configured ASIO4all to work with io2. I haven't used this gear in a looooong time and have forgotten how everything works.

                  Everythings perfect now. Thanks again.
