bias fx 2 with spark

can i use bias fx 2 with spark............. step by step please
-
@mmacforte Hi. If you are talking about running an output from your pc into the Spark then yes probably (although I've not done this). If you are asking if the BIAS FX2 patches/amps/effects are compatible with the Spark then no (although I'm hoping it will be eventually). You can't download a BIAS FX2 patch from the tonecloud into Spark amp. Hope this helps.

@tuck60 Yeah Im hoping they add this feature - would love to add my own home built FX2 patches/pedals/amps

tHANKS GUYS i WANTED THE STEREO PATHS THAT BIAS DELIVERS
-
@mmacforte That's what I was hoping for too.
-
the other alternative is does pg have apps that willfind chords etc and make up jam tracks?
-
@mmacforte You can use the Spark app without the actual Spark amp. Just click "skip" when it opens. You can then output the sound from your phone/tablet to headphones, bluetooth speakers, etc. and use any amp to play along (including amp sims on your phone). I've done both, works exactly as if you have a Spark amp.

Interesting. I hadn't thought about using like this. I've just tried it out running Bias FX on my iPhone SE (with irig HD) and using the Spark app to run the Smart Jam, some of the backing tracks and the list I was using from Spotify. All show the chords and allow you to loop and slow down.
Obviously the benefits of having the quality of the Spark amp is better (in my opinion) and gives you much easier control of the backing volume and guitar volume.
A really good tip...thanks @johndagostino -
@tuck60 Sure thing. It is really the app that is "smart". Of course, having the Spark hardware and the Spark app offers excellent integration of the overall system.

I would love the dual signal path in the spark amp. even if its limited to amps only with the mixer and fine ms delay control.

Kind of janky, but you could connect your guitar to whatever interface you use with Bias FX 2 and run the headphone out of that interface into the Spark Amp’s AUX in.
A workaround until PG adds the ability to use Bias FX 2 with the Spark app
